Seattle-based staffing and resourcing experts Projectline (a division of Yesler, Inc.) and SM Diversity have announced a formal partnership to deliver a wider variety of talent recruiting and resourcing engagement models to their enterprise clients. Founded by Anika Lehde, Mike Kichline, and David Jones, Projectline has provided high-end marketing talent and outsourced managed team services to high-tech clients since 2004. SM Diversity, founded by Steven Matly, has been disrupting the staffing industry in Seattle since 2014. Matly was recently named one of Seattle’s most influential diversity leaders by Seattle Magazine.
Both growing companies have a long-standing record of values-based recruiting with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion. Projectline will add to SM Diversity’s capabilities to quickly scale client operations with large teams on demand, including remote talent located across North America, the United Kingdom, and Singapore. SM Diversity will bring to Projectline a deep history of technology talent recruiting and expanded thought leadership on diversity and inclusion, including Hacking Diversity events and education programming services.
“It was clear to me in our very first meeting that SM Diversity was deeply aligned with our values and our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the modern resourcing industry. SM Diversity’s team will strengthen our own best practices, but also provide the ability to deliver strategic guidance to clients around diversity and inclusion programs at an organizational planning level. We can now serve our clients’ needs even better.” —Damian Hoffman, General Manager, Projectline Services.
“We are thrilled to be joining forces with Projectline and its team of dedicated and senior account managers. With this Projectline strength behind us, our clients can count on this partnership to deliver on-demand talent at scale—and in an ethical way.” —Steven Matly, Founder, Diversity SM
