Projectline’s October Consultant of the Month: John Musci (He/Him)

Each month one of our incredible consultants is “chosen to” receive recognition because they truly embody our core values—Accountability, Partnership, Drive, Curiosity, and Transparency—with their clients and our consultant community. I get the honor of asking them a few fun questions beyond their daily work deliverables! Meet John Musci, our October consultant of the month.

Q: What is the strangest place you have ever had dinner?
A: On a train across Morocco during Ramadan. Passengers shared their food with me as they broke the fast at sundown—even though they watched me devour a sandwich an hour earlier. Unforgettable kindness.

Q: What’s your primary assignment all about?
A: I create content that helps developers and software teams discover practices, solutions, and cloud services that lead to better workflows and better products.

Q: What is the # 1 thing that you like about Projectline?  Why Projectline and not another firm?
A: Projectline cares. It’s in the way my account manager always asks me how I’m doing, how he can help. And it’s in the way the firm plays an active role in supporting causes—the last question on here asks me which organization they should send $250 to in my honor. That’s extraordinary.

Q: From what location do you work?
A: Co-working spaces, secluded corners of coffee shops and hostels, the occasional plane window seat.

Q: What do you do for fun?
A: Guitar, harmonica, piano, dance (learning salsa now), and listen to music.

Q: In honor of your being Consultant of the Month, we would like to donate $250 in your name to the organization of your choice! Which organization would you like us to donate to?
A: Mobile Loaves & Fishes in Austin. Specifically their Community First! project—affordable permanent housing and supportive community for people coming out of chronic homelessness.
