Projectline’s November 2017 Consultant of the Month: Manjiri Virginkar-Papproth

Each month one of our incredible consultants is “chosen to” receive recognition because they truly embody our core values—Accountability, Partnership, Drive, Curiosity, and Transparency—with their clients and our consultant community. I get the honor of asking them a few fun questions beyond their daily work deliverables! Meet Manjiri Virginkar-Papproth, our November consultant of the month!

Q: What’s your primary assignment all about?
A: My primary assignment has been to design and launch a loyalty program pilot. Here, I have been responsible for all aspects of the program: PM, writer/communicator, QA, channel marketing and reporting. Today the program is the core of a worldwide initiative and I am excited to continue working on it.

Q: What do you love about working with your client?
A: First and foremost, the support and confidence that my client has shown in my work has been amazing. I was given total freedom to design the program and whenever I came up with a new idea, I was given green light to follow through. It has been great to know that my client values my work and always has my back.

Q: What is one word that your best friend would use to describe you?
A: Positive and calm under stress. Sorry, got two words here…

Q: What do you do for fun?
A: Fun activity for me is being outside – enjoy the nature and spend time with my family.

Q: From what location do you work from?
A: My work is a mix of at home and client site work. I mostly work for home and go in for meetings two days a week. For me, this has been an ideal work-life balance.

Q: Where do you like to volunteer your time or donate your extra cash? What organizations do you support?
A:  Seattle Children’s and American Parkinson Disease Association.

Q: What is the most dangerous thing you have ever done?
A: For me one of the most dangerous aka most adventurous thing I ever did was to move to a foreign country/Paris for my university studies. For the first time, I was totally on my own, with no family or no one I knew to help me. But soon I realized that all other students in the student residence were in a similar boat and we became each other’s family.

Q: What do you love about working with your client?
A: My favorite thing about Projectline is their amazing support to their consultants. The consultants can totally depend on their technical resources and in-person support. Here, I must mention how great my Projectline manager Sophie Solomon has been. Whenever I had a question or needed something, she has always been totally available – I remember once she was on a flight going on vacation but still took time to answer my queries on skype from the plane.

I’m personally impressed with the dedication our consultants have to their work, but also to the wider world. If you know someone like this, please tell them about Projectline Services and point them to our career page. We are always hiring!
